Junkers A60: Optimized flying pleasure
The Junkers A60 continues the tradition of the A50 Junior, but with its own accents. Like the A50 Junior, the A60 also belongs to the ultralight aircraft category with a weight class of 600 kg. It is powered by a four-cylinder Rotax engine with 100 hp and an MT propeller. The brakes are supplied by Beringer and the avionics are provided by GARMIN. This combination ensures not only modern flying comfort, but also a high level of safety. An outstanding feature of the A60 is the side-by-side arrangement of the seats. In contrast to its predecessor, the A60 makes it possible to share the flight experience with a co-pilot or fellow passengers and facilitates communication during the flight. In addition to the seating arrangement, aerodynamic improvements have been made in the form of a retractable nose wheel landing gear. These refinements contribute to improved flight characteristics. The A60 also offers the option of flying with the cabin closed in bad weather, similar to a convertible.
